Pod Devonshire Square
Pod's quality food and ethical business values are reflected in our simple and ethically aware design of this 50-seater eatery. Sweet chestnut, coppiced in England, has been used for bespoke benches, seating and till units, lending a natural aesthetic. The chilled food encased within a traditional kitchen tile wall and exposed services give an industrial feel to the space and stainless steel in the customer area and the kitchen bring a contemporary edge to the restaurant.
In line with our design ethics, natural, locally sourced materials have been chosen for the restaurant. The design is open, allowing customers to interact easily with the kitchen and staff. We have designed an environmentally sound yet functional cafe, one that is stylish in its outlook without being merely trendy.
