Waugh Thistleton felt that the key to successfully developing this apartment was to divide and orientate the layout while keeping partitions to a minimum. Specialised areas are created through changes to floor and ceiling levels.

A central, 20 sqm skylight is the showpiece of the space. A staircase leads to the skylight and roof terrace. The staircase acts as a sculptural element while providing a focus to the apartment. It also allows for the articulation of space dedicated to dining, kitchen and seating areas.
